LUSIN was born in a quiet return to myself.
At 42, with both of my daughters now at school, I felt the pull to create something that was just for me again — something creative, grounding and meaningful.
Before becoming a mother, I worked as a makeup artist. While I loved the artistry, years of physical work left me with ongoing back pain, and I knew it was time to find a new creative path.
Jewellery felt like a natural place to return to.
When I was 20 and studying hairdressing, I used to make and sell jewellery on the side — something I had almost forgotten about until recently. Coming back to it now feels like reconnecting with a part of myself that has always been there.
The Meaning Behind the Name
LUSIN is the Armenian word for moon.
The name honours my husband’s family heritage — his father is Armenian, with Greek roots.
The moon has long been a symbol of femininity, rhythm, intuition and quiet light — a reflection of the spirit behind each piece.
The Story Behind the Logo
The LUSIN logo is inspired by the Armenian Eternity Symbol — an ancient mark representing continuity, connection and the interconnectedness of life.
It also holds a deeply personal meaning.
When I began creating LUSIN, I asked my six-year-old daughter to draw her own version of the symbol. I then combined elements of the traditional design with her drawing to create the final mark.
The result is something that carries both heritage and motherhood — past and future woven together.
The Jewellery
Each LUSIN piece is created using natural crystals, semi-precious gemstones and coral.
These are paired with 14k gold-filled elements, chosen for their quality, longevity, and soft, warm finish.
Charms are 14k gold plated and finished with a tarnish-resistant coating to help preserve their colour and shine over time.
I’m drawn to the individuality of natural stones — their colours, textures and subtle imperfections. No two are ever the same.
The designs are intentionally simple and earthy, allowing the materials themselves to take centre stage.
Each piece is designed to feel timeless, effortless, and easy to wear every day.
